Christy enjoys being an administrator in higher education, and as a self-professed lifelong learner, continuing education is an even more perfect fit for her. She loves working with a team of talented people to provide high quality, affordable classes for adult learners. Christy believes that student satisfaction and positive learning outcomes should be the primary goals of a successful continuing education program. In her spare time, she enjoys getting outside as much as possible with her husband, son and miniature dachshund.
Marianne has been in Continuing Education for more than three years, and is having a grand time, surrounded by people having fun AND learning something herself every day. In addition to education, art is her passion, and the wonderful thing about Continuing Ed at North is that she can have both education and art in one package. In her spare time, she gardens, reads, and solves TV murders with her partner Bob.
Oralea found a home here in Continuing Education first as a student, growing as an artist through our drawing, painting, and printmaking classes. She now enjoys supporting our students, instructors, and staff as our Interim Marketing Specialist and continues to spend evenings making art as often as she can! In her spare time, she can be found herding her daughter, Labrador and three chickens through their days or biking around beautiful NE Seattle.
Natalia has found a home in the North Seattle College administration area for several years, joining Continuing Education in Fall 2019. She received her first American education through this community college system and now thoroughly enjoys a career there. She loves the atmosphere, teaming and evolving challenges of Continuing Education. In her spare time, Natalia enjoys the Northwest outdoors with hiking and fitness as well as keeping up with her 2 children.
Bri first joined the Continuing Education team as the Beginning Ballet for Adults instructor. As an office assistant, she enjoys supporting students foster a lifelong love of learning, and being part of a community of generous educators. When she's not dancing or teaching, she's hiking, biking, and swimming through the Pacific Northwest.
Carol loves to go to school; whether as student, teacher or an administrator, all are anticipated with great excitement. Her favorite time of year is Fall…because it means new composition notebooks, textbooks and freshly sharpened #2 pencils! She earned her undergraduate degree from University of Delaware and her graduate degree from University of Washington.
